Farc activó cilindro-bomba a 20 metros de un colegio

Guerrilleros de las Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia, Farc, atentaron contra las instalaciones del único colegio del municipio de Fortul, Arauca, que alberga mil estudiantes, tras detonar un cilindro-bomba cargado con 40 kilos de explosivos. El atentado, que además del colegio afectó varias viviendas y locales comerciales del sector, se presentó ayer a las 8:00 de la mañana en el casco urbano de dicho municipio donde mantiene injerencia el Décimo frente de las Farc.
De acuerdo con las autoridades, entre quienes perpetraron el atentado, que no dejó víctimas, se encuentra un menor de 17 años experto en el manejo de explosivos.

Este adolescente fue capturado por la Policía a pocas cuadras cuando huía del sitio de la explosión. El capturado fue identificado por algunos testigos como la persona que dejó debajo de una alcantarilla el cilindro-bomba.

El menor de edad permanece en una guarnición militar y en las próximas horas será dejado a disposición del Instituto Colombiano de Bienestar Familiar, Icbf.

“Tenemos información de inteligencia que señala que este menor de edad es experto en la fabricación y manejo de explosivos y que fue él quien utilizando un mecanismo de control remoto activó el cilindro bomba”, indicó el brigadier general Orlando Pineda Gómez, comandante de la Quinta Región de Policía.


La explosión

A las 7:50 de la mañana de ayer las autoridades de Fortul recibieron varias llamadas en las que denunciaron la presencia de personas sospechosos que estaban abriendo las alcantarillas en los alrededores del colegio.

Poco después en la zona se sintió una fuerte explosión que ocasionó serios daños en las estructuras del colegio en el que por fortuna no había nadie, pues los cerca de mil estudiantes se encuentran en vacaciones.

“Una vez más queda demostrado que las Farc son terroristas y que lejos de ser cultivadores del campo, como lo quieren mostrar con videos a la comunidad internacional, son sembradores de cilindros-bomba y criminales que siguen utilizando menores de edad en sus filas”, señaló el brigadier general Pineda Gómez.

De acuerdo con los trabajos de inteligencia adelantados por las autoridades, la carga explosiva sería activada al paso de una caravana militar, pero al sentirse descubiertos por la Policía, los subversivos habrían optado por detonar la carga.
